ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ supported high profile SDI programsÌýsuch as SCIT, THAAD, ASAT and GBI/EKV byÌýdesigning very small, light, fast-acting solenoidÌývalves. ºìÐÓÊÓÆµ applied this technology from theseÌýprograms to successfully develop and qualifyÌýa family of light-weight, high-pressure isolationÌývalves for cold gas and high-purity xenonÌýpropellant management systems. The latch valvesÌýutilize permanent magnetics to hold the valveÌýelement in the last (open/closed) commandedÌýposition. The solenoid valve is a normally closed design. These valve designs haveÌýbeen used in various space propulsion and operational systems in support ofÌýplanetary and GEO satellite applications.
